A new ecological house

Designing a new house gives us the opportunity to apply the principles that underlie our philosophy at a larger scale. In this new single family house in Vilafranca, home and garden blend together in the ground floor where the paving from the living room and dining areas extend towards the outside. In addition, large sliding windows allow a complete opening up of the house. Special attention has been given to energy consumption, using passive environmental design like the adjustable wooden louvers that filter the light, solar panels and rainwater collection. Studio Bolet directed the schematic design and design development project of architecture in collaboration with Nadal Marcè Arquitectes. This work is currently under construction.
